Summer Bishil has been an American actress since her debut in 2015. She is known as Margo Hanon, a character from the Syfy the fantasy-based series The Magicians. The actress was previously recognized for playing the role of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through a series of emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later, in 2007, Variety declared her to be among its top 10 actors to watch. She was also a key character in 2009's crime thriller Crossing Over. For this actress, she won a nomination in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading.
